Don’t tumble my dickey: Fanny Fern, N. P. Willis, and their Literary Circle Walking Tour

Nathaniel Parker Willis and his sister, who wrote under the pen name Fanny Fern, were two of the most popular writers of the 19th century. This walking tour with literary historian Rob Velella explores their literary and journalism careers, both marked by controversy and rivalry, and their connections to other writers, publishers, and reformers.

Refunds and exchanges for events at Mount Auburn Cemetery are available up to 5 business days prior to the event.* Cancellations made after this deadline are not eligible for a refund and the order amount will be donated to support future programs and initiatives.

If Mount Auburn Cemetery decides to cancel an event, all ticket holders will be notified and automatically refunded.
