Book Club: The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl

Join us on Wednesday, July 8th, at 2pm in Story Chapel for a discussion of “The Dante Club” by Matthew Pearl.
This month we will discuss The Dante Club By Matthew Pearl (2006). In this suspenseful novel, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Oliver Wendell Holmes and James Russell Lowell team up to use their knowledge of Dante’s Inferno to catch a serial killer. All three men are buried in Mount Auburn.
Each month, the Mount Auburn Book Club meets to discuss a selected work related to one of Mount Auburn’s many facets. Selections range from books on history, natural history, horticulture, art, architecture, preservation, and wildlife to books written by or about those now buried and commemorated here.
