We identified a minor structural issue with the roof on the northeast wing of Willow Court and are not able to schedule any entombments or allow visitation in this area until we can stabilize the roof. We are actively working to resolve the matter and anticipate the area to be reopen by early November. Bigelow Chapel will be undergoing maintenance from October 19 to October 31. Chapel services and witness viewings will not be available during this time.

We are currently installing electrical infrastructure on the perimeter of the Bigelow Chapel Lawn to provide permanent electrical power for outdoor events, including our inspiring and popular winter SOLSTICE program.  We are also improving lighting around the entrance to Bigelow Chapel to improve nighttime visibility for our increasing nighttime events, and adding new lighting along Central and Chapel Aves to connect Bigelow Chapel to Story Chapel and our main entrance area. The in-ground work will be complete in June, and the lighting installed later in July.
