“From Cambridge to PBS” with former AiR Roberto Mighty
April 3 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

After finishing his residency at Mount Auburn, Roberto went on to create and host the PBS series, World’s Greatest Cemeteries. The TV show premiered in October 2021 and episode #1 focuses on Mount Auburn Cemetery right here in Cambridge, MA! Since then, the show has traveled to France, England, Hollywood and New York.
How did this all come about, and why does Roberto credit Mount Auburn with convincing him that a whole nation might watch a series about graveyards? Find out at this one-night-only event where Roberto shares his journey from Cambridge to becoming “that cemetery guy” on PBS. The 20-minute talk will be followed by a Q&A with Roberto and MAC’s Curator of Historical Collections & Archives, Meg Winslow.
The talk will take place in Bigelow Chapel at Mount Auburn. Prior to the event, there will be a reception where attendees will have the opportunity to meet and chat with Roberto and MAC leadership. If you are interested in attending the reception, please email Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Beth Brown, at bbrown@mountauburn.org.
