If you are interested in learning about local flora and fauna and are concerned about the impacts of the warming climate and urbanization on species populations and habitat, please join us for a series of virtual classroom trainings and discussions to learn about what is happening at one of the largest green spaces in our area.

The goal of the Citizen Science Naturalist Program is to provide public education and train volunteers to become research assistants to local experts conducting field projects in the Mount Auburn landscape.

Field trainings and tutorial walks will be provided throughout the year following the classroom trainings.  Opportunities to study trees, birds, emergent and pollinator insects, host plants, bats, amphibians, and fungi and lichens will be possible.

All are welcome.  No experience is necessary.  This program is free.  The classroom trainings will be held on Zoom.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Paul Kwiatkowski at pkwiatkowski@mountauburn.org
