The 19^th amendment, ratified 1920, guaranteed women the right to vote. The road to victory in America was long and arduous.  In the 18^th century we hear the insistent voice of Abigail Adams, “Remember the Ladies!”   Later we hear other voices and experience the mass gatherings of women and men who insisted women be heard and given the right to vote. To keep our “memory green” we will visit the graves and hear the narratives of the lives of these advocates in this struggle.   Rosemarie Smurzynski, volunteer docent, will lead the walk.
