DESCRIPTION:Join us Memorial Day Weekend as we remember those who died serving in the armed forces. Complimentary Flags are available at the main vehicular entrance while supplies last. Flags are intended to be placed at a grave of a veteran. \nOn Sunday\, May 24\, Bigelow Chapel will be open from 10 AM – 2 PM for quiet reflection and to learn more about the history and architecture of the Chapel and the nearby Sphinx which is a memorial to the Civil War. \nOn Monday\, May 25\, Story Chapel will be open 9 AM – 4:30 PM for quiet reflection and to learn more about the many facets of Mount Auburn.
