In the summer of 2015 Mount Auburn embarked on an ambitious two year restoration of the iconic Egyptian Revival Gateway, starting with the remaining sections of ca. 1844 cast iron fence and the ca. 1913 vehicle gates.  Join Gus Fraser, Vice President of Preservation and Facilities, to learn about the difficult decisions and many challenges encountered removing, repairing and finally reinstalling the fence and gates.
