Built in 1898, Story Chapel resembles a 15th-century English parish church. The exterior is red-brown sandstone, while the interior features Gothic detailing: stone walls, a carved wooden ceiling, and a wood pulpit and pews. Its architect, Willard T. Sears, also designed Boston’s famed Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
Story Chapel can comfortably seat 175 and has space for additional seating if needed. Fully modernized, it is air conditioned and fully handicapped accessible. It also boasts a historic Hook & Hastings organ, if you’d like to include live music as part of your ceremony.
