Notable Women of Watertown

January 8, 2016

Watertown, MA boasts some of the most remarkable women of the mid-19th to early 20th century.  They are painters, writers and sculptors: Maria White Lowell, Ellen Robbins, Harriet Hosmer, and Anne Whitney, all interred here at the cemetery.  Join volunteer docent Rosemarie Smurzynski to visit their graves and learn about their lives and works.

Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
