Edwin Booth, noted Shakespearean actor, is buried in Lot #3281, Anemone Path, beside his first wife and infant son from his second marriage. Thousands attended his funeral, during which Julia Ward Howe placed a swag of evergreens on his coffin.

Sculptor Joseph Coletti, a Harvard graduate and assistant to John Singer Sargent, created the Art Deco monument for the Morss family lot at Oak Avenue and Buttercup Path.
