SUMMARY:Summer SOLSTICE: Movement for Grief & Gratitude
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, dancer/choreographer and current Artist-in-Residence Lonnie Stanton (2024-2025) will explore movement as a medium for expressing grief and gratitude. By slowing down and centering our breath\, this offering can be experienced as a healing practice and a pathway to connect deeper with the nature we are surrounded by at the Cemetery. Rooted in yoga\, this workshop is designed for adults of all mobilities. \nCheck-in for the class will be at the Central Ave entrance to Hazel Dell (i.e. Hazel Dell Path). The movement class will also take place in Hazel Dell. \nRegister Now >>\nExperience a deeper connection to Mount Auburn Cemetery with free access to all our public programs and discounts on special events by joining the Friends of Mount Auburn. Our robust roster of programs each year is made possible by the generous support of our donors and in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. \nFor inquiries about accessibility\, to request an accommodation\, or if you have any questions about your membership\, please contact friends@mountauburn.org.
