Boston history has had its share of big dreamers, great thinkers, and just odd folks. This walking tour with Volunteer DocentĀ Robin Hazard Ray highlights some of the city’s better-known visionaries, such as Christian Science founder Mary Baker Eddy and inventor R. Buckminster Fuller; eccentrics like Moses Kimball, whose Boston Museum featured the Feejee Mermaid; and some who were a little of both.

Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
