A portrait comes alive! Ted Zalewski’s dramatic presentation captures the spirit of van Gogh the man and the essence of van Gogh the artist. Roulin, Vincent’s loyal friend, relates van Gogh’s personal and artistic journey from his native Holland to the south of France. This presentation honors the artists in all our lives, and especially the many noted artists interred at Mount Auburn. Please join us after the performance for a discussion comparing and contrasting the lives of two of the nineteenth century’s greatest masters, Vincent van Gogh and Winslow Homer.
