Ever wonder for whom the streets and squares of Cambridge were named in honor of, and why? Join Volunteer Docent Carol Harper on this walking tour to “meet” Zachariah Porter, Edward Kendall, Joseph Buckingham, Jared Sparks, Joseph Story, Morrill Wyman, John Appleton, and the Rindge family, among others, to learn how their ideas and contributions, from the Porterhouse Steak, to the founding of Mount Auburn Hospital, created our culture and city and why each person was so highly recognized.
