We invite you to join us for our annual Service of Commemoration. Words and music will help us to remember those who have gone before us during this Memorial Day service.

This year’s speakers:

Rev. Patricia Hatch is a multi-faith officiant and worship leader, specializing in funerals and memorial services. Patricia also preaches for a variety of churches in Massachusetts and neighboring states. She earned her Master of Divinity degree from Boston University in 2011. She loves nature, poetry, and inspiration of all kinds.

The Rev. Stephen R. Silver has been pastor of the First Congregational Church (Lebanon, NH) since February 2010. He believes that the great challenge and holy calling of the church today is to help build authentic community for all who seek to know the love of God. In his ministry he preaches and teaches the Word, leads worship, provides pastoral care to members, and offers Christian education and spiritual formation programming to old and young alike.

Steve’s previous ministries include service as Affiliated Minister at Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord, Massachusetts; Director of Stewardship and Resource Development for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts; and Director of Planned Giving for the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ. Before entering the ministry, Steve spent nearly two decades as a fundraiser at several Boston-area universities, including Harvard, where he was Director of Planned Giving at the Law School. He has also served as Director of Leadership and Planned Giving at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

He received his M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School in 2006. He holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Religion from Harvard, an M.B.A. with a concentration in marketing and international management from Cornell, and an A.B. in politics from Brandeis.
