Lunch Time Lecture: Revolutionary Memory, Civil War Sacrifice: Pauline Revere Thayer and Preserving the Revere Legacy
This spring will mark the end of a four year sesquicentennial commemoration of the Civil War. Join us for this free series of lunch-time talks as we share some of our favorite Civil War stories. All talks will take place in Story Chapel. Bring your lunch for these hour-long presentations, coffee and tea provided.
Nina Zannieri, executive director of the Paul Revere House will discuss the patriotic legacy of the Revolutionary hero, including his two grandsons killed in the Civil War and efforts by his granddaughter, Pauline Revere Thayor, to preserve the family’s story.
