June 22, 2019 @ 11:30 am
Mount Auburn Cemetery
580 Mt Auburn St
Cambridge, MA 02138 United States

Join Amy Mertl of Lesley University and Claire O’Neill of EarthWise Aware on Saturday as we work together to document our important urban pollinators. We will start with a brief talk about urban pollinators and a tutorial on how to use your smartphone or camera to document insects, suggest apps to use, and go over the basic insect families. Afterwards we will split into groups and walk through the cemetery to photograph as many pollinators as possible! Bring a smartphone or camera, water, and sunscreen. If you have a smartphone, we suggest downloading the iNaturalist app beforehand. Kids are welcome! Rain Date: June 23rd at 10 am.

Experience a deeper connection to Mount Auburn Cemetery with free access to all our public programs and discounts on special events by joining the Friends of Mount Auburn. Our robust roster of programs each year is made possible through your generous support.

Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
