*CANCELED* Pollinator Week: Bee Keeping and the Greenhouse
Name: Join 3 different Mount Auburn staff members at 3 different locations in the cemetery for a walk about pollinators. We will meet at the Greenhouse, and then split into three groups to visit the beehives, cut flower garden, and lower meadow. We will learn about honeybees, the beekeeping program at the cemetery, and also talk about other native pollinators and the plants that support them. Join the Greenhouse at 5pm later that afternoon for a free Bluegrass concert. Visitors should bring a hat, water, and sunscreen. No rain date.
Experience a deeper connection to Mount Auburn Cemetery with free access to all our public programs and discounts on special events by joining the Friends of Mount Auburn. Our robust roster of programs each year is made possible through your generous support.
Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
