Members Only: Evening Owl Walk
This time of year is best to search for migrating Northern Saw-whet Owls. Though hard to find during this time of the day, bird-banders have trapped and tagged hundreds nearby in Northbridge, Lincoln, Marshfield, and the Blue Hills using recordings at night to lure them into nets. Seeing one will be iffy, though we have a good chance of seeing or at least hearing a Great Horned or a Screech Owl. Join Bob Stymeist for this exciting walking tour. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight!
This is a special members-only event. Pre-registration required.
Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
