Margaret Fuller is recognized as an important early American literary critic, journalist, and the author of the first full-length feminist book in the United States. She once said: “I now know all the people worth knowing in America, and I find no intellect comparable to my own.”

Join us in Story Chapel as¬†Rob Velella¬†examines this quote, its context, and its potential veracity. Velella is an independent literary historian and playwright. In 2010 he served as guest curator of “Margaret Fuller: Woman of the Nineteenth Century,” an exhibition at Harvard’s Houghton Library.

This program is part of Women’s History Month.
