Film Screening: A Will for the Woods
In this documentary, Clark Wang, a musician, folk dancer, and psychiatrist, is confronted with his own mortality following a battle with lymphoma. He sets out to find meaning in death and plan for a low-impact, sustainable funeral – and discovers a larger movement to conserve natural areas through green burial. Described by the filmmakers as “an immersive, life-affirming depiction of people coming to terms with mortality by embracing their connection to timeless natural cycles,” A Will for the Woods is a film you won’t soon forget.
There will be a brief Q&A with the filmmakers at the conclusion of the screening.
Limited seating. Preregistration required.
