150 years ago, at the dedication of the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, President Lincoln delivered his famous address in a mere two minutes. The revered orator and statesman, Edward Everett, preceded Lincoln with a moving two-hour speech. Join us in Bigelow Chapel, where actor and historian Jim Cooke will assume the persona of this Mount Auburn resident as we remember those who fell at Gettysburg and honor the life and career or the incomparable Edward Everett.
