Donor event: Moonlight Abolitionists – Artists’ Walk and Brunch
Patrick Gabridge, former Artist-in-Residence and creator of The Mount Auburn Plays, has produced an additional piece inspired by the Cemetery, Moonlight Abolitionists, that will be performed September 20-22, 2021 (SOLD OUT). Before then, learn about some of the prominent and interesting figures of the abolitionist movement buried at Mount Auburn on this private walking tour with playwright Patrick Gabridge and Director Megan Sandberg-Zakian, where you will hear stories from this 19th-century struggle in America over slavery and its democratic values and voting rights. This walk will be followed by brunch.
This is a special event for members of the 1831 Society and project donors. RSVP to email@example.com.
