Art, Acquisition, and Ambition Walking Tour

March 1, 2016

The great art collections of Boston—the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Harvard Art Museums, the Boston Athenaeum, and others—were created by vivid personalities, often in head-to-head competition with one another. Join Volunteer Docent Robin Hazard Ray on a walking tour to meet the friends who were also rivals in the accumulation of artistic treasures that enrich our lives today.

Funding for programs has been provided in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
