Mount Auburn Cemetery is currently looking to expand its corps of volunteers. There are interesting opportunities in horticulture, interpretive programs, preservation, development and events. Volunteers work along side our professional staff to help further Mount Auburn's mission of providing a place of beauty and commemoration for families and visitors and ensuring the preservation of this important part of our community's cultural heritage.

Volunteer Opportunities Please check all that interest you:
	Gardening (outdoors): help with bulb plantings, weeding, mulching, edging. (seasonal)
	Greenhouse: help care for greenhouse plants, flower beds, the experimental garden. (seasonal)
	Historical Collections and Monument Inscription Program: assist with light office work, including photocopying, data entry, and archival cataloguing; document monument inscriptions.
	Plant Collections: catalog plantings, help maintain database records, help with identification of plants and installing plant labels.
	Public Programs: assist with public programs and tours for groups and classes; help with refreshments and welcoming participants at public events; provide visitor services and information at the Entrance, take photographs, do research for interpretive materials, collect data such as natural history surveys, etc. (Volunteers needed seven days a week.*)
	Volunteer Tour Guide Training (being developed): participate in training program and lead public tours at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
	Membership and Development Office: assist with light office work, (including data entry) and mailings preparation; help with set-up and registration for donor and membership events and serve as a host/hostess.
