From Boston via Storrow Drive
Take Storrow Drive West past Harvard Square exit. Take next exit marked Arlington, Fresh Pond Parkway. Bear right over Charles River on Eliot Bridge following signs for Arlington, Fresh Pond Parkway. Get in left lane at traffic lights in front of Mount Auburn Hospital, following signs for Route 16 West, Watertown. At next traffic light bear left onto Mt. Auburn St. and go .3 mile to Entrance Gate on left.
By MBTA (Public Transportation)
At Harvard Square Station (Red Line), take either the Watertown Square or Waverley Square trolley (#71 or #73). Get off on Mount Auburn Street at Aberdeen Avenue. Cross Mount Auburn Street to the Entrance Gate. (Check schedules on the MBTA website.)
From North via I-93
Take I-93 exit 32 ("Route 60, Medford Square/Malden"). Take lst exit onto MA-60 W/Salem St. which becomes Main St/MA 38 in Medford Square after less than 1/10th mile. After 1.2 miles merge onto Mystic Valley Parkway/MA Rte 16 which becomes Alewife Brook Pkwy at the Alewife MBTA Station. At traffic lights, follow signs for "Route 16 West, Watertown." Cross the overpass and at lst rotary, go halfway around onto Fresh Pond Parkway, still following signs "Route 16 West." Continue on 16W to traffic lights at Huron Avenue, take right on Huron, "Rte. 16 West, Watertown." Take left on Aberdeen Street, "Route 16, Watertown." Get in left lane and at lights turn left onto Mt. Auburn St. The Entrance Gate is immediately on the right.
From I-495 and I-95 (Route 128)
Get on the Mass Pike (I-90) going east towards Boston. Get off at Exit 17 marked "Watertown/Newton" and follow directions below:
From West via Mass. Pike (I-90)
Take Exit 17 marked "Watertown/Newton." Bear left, cross over the Pike and get in the middle lane, following the signs for "Watertown." Take Galen Street .5 mile to Watertown Square. Go straight through onto Mt. Auburn St. (Route 16 East - Cambridge). Go 2.2 miles to the Entrance Gate on your right, just after the Star Supermarket on the left.
From South via Route 3 or Route 24
Take I-93 north (Southeast Expressway) into Boston. Take the Mass Pike (I-90) West to the Cambridge-Allston exit. Bear right towards Cambridge and turn left onto Storrow Drive. Follow the directions in 'From Boston via Storrow Drive' above.
